Seattle, December 2010:

I carried a mixed bag of emotions when I first landed in the United States. In my transition from East to West, it took a lot of courage to confront all my fears of being alone in a new world and to try to find where I fit in.

While going back and forth between the two worlds, I struggled but ultimately flourished in the different cultures. These experiences taught me the importance of seeking problems, finding connections, and melting boundaries, and they eventually drove me to create meaningful experiences with unique approaches and perspectives.

Los Angeles, December 2020:

I am standing strong somewhere between East and West as a designer, interested in sharing compelling stories that establish emotional connections. As I look towards the future, I pour beer into a Teku glass, listen to a playlist of my favorite songs, and look up at the sky.
